Located in a century-old renovated manor house in the village of Paladín, Villa Palatina is a luxury tourist hostel dedicated to immersing pilgrims and travellers into Asturian life. Boasting a prime location in the middle of the countryside just 21 kilometres from Oviedo Cathedral, this hostel is the perfect place to catch your breath, whether you’re travelling along the Primitive Way or simply looking to escape reality for a while. The Soto river runs alongside the hostel, allowing you to relax and refresh your weary feet after a long day exploring the charming local trails, such as the “senda del oso” (path of the bear), or discovering the region by bike. Our restaurant also serves traditional Asturian dishes that will help restore your energy.

A luxury hostel
You can’t make the most of the Primitive Way if you don’t get enough rest. Villa Palatina offers natural surroundings that promote the relaxation of both body and mind. Our traditional Asturian manor house has 38 beds distributed through various rooms, one of which has disabled access.
Catering
Good food and relaxation are intrinsically connected. At Villa Palatina, we have our own vegetable garden and livestock, enhancing our connection to the land and the dishes we serve. Our food is fresh, balanced and based on local produce.
We also offer vegetarian, vegan and allergy-friendly options, including gluten-free.
El Txoko
El Txoko is a cosy lounge area that represents Villa Palatina’s philosophy: to be a sanctuary for ultimate relaxation. Enjoy a delicious cider on the outdoor terrace whilst you take in the sounds of the Soto river and the views over Paladín’s lush meadows. Back inside, you’ll feel right at home with the cosy fireplace, library and TV.
